Is it necessary to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking in advance due to high demand during the dry season.
Is the campsite suitable for all ages?
Yes, but it is specifically designed for travelers planning to trek in the region.
Can you drive directly to the campsite?
No, the final access is on foot, with a short 15-minute walk from Piscacucho.
How do I get to the camp?
You can take public transportation from Cusco to Ollantaytambo (8 USD), then to Piscacucho (1.5 USD), followed by a 15-minute walk to the camp. Also you can take private transfer directly from Cusco for approximately 40 USD (2h 30m journey).
Are meals included?
We include dinner and breakfast the following day.
Are the restrooms shared?
If you stay in the Chozas (Huts) toilets and showers are shared but if you stay in the Casitas (Glamping) they have private bathrooms.
Do the showers have hot water?
Yes, solar hot water.
Is the water filtered?
The water comes from a natural spring and microfilter only for drinking.
What activities do you have?
Day hikes in the surroundings.
What services do you offer?
A hot tub and a shared sauna. We also have massages that need to be book in advance.
